National Museum of Natural History

RMNH Mysore can boast of having installed special  ramps and other facilities in its designs as early as 1988 and the shortcoming were nullified by a dedicated modification exercise making every area of RMNH Mysore accessible to various sections of the differently abled Museum provides wheelchair facilities for physically challenged visitors. Further this museum organizes various activities and programmes for special children every year to spread our arms of communicating to every section of the society and disseminating information regarding environment awareness like nature trip, art & craft, touch, feel & learn, song competitions, dance competition, sand art, painting etc.  Museum gives an opportunity to the children with special needs to participate in various museum activities like regular students and express their talents related to natural history.
